The AR glasses are folded over the eyes as a display. At first, a QR code is read from the Woodtec Fankhauser assembly table, which the glasses are aligned to. Now, the plans from SEMA can be projected onto the assembly table in real size. Various functions can be accessed via gesture recognition.
The projection shows what construction is present, where the frames and timbers run and where the boards are attached. The timbers can be assigned to the correct position by means of the component numbers and labels allocated during joining. The posts underneath the board become visible: The glasses show the outlines of the timbers, so that marking lines or marking tools are no longer necessary for clamping or milling.
Further information from the plans such as electrical wiring can also be displayed. The virtual display of the entire 3D model on a small scale makes it easy to keep track of things.
