The master craftsman's business from the Black Forest is a typical village carpentry business with over 25 years of experience. Gottfried Lehmann runs the family business together with his son Jörg. In addition to traditional timber construction work, they specialize in typical Black Forest houses.
As Gottfried Lehmann himself says, the numerous and sometimes complex tasks involved in traditional timber construction are significantly simplified by the use of SEMA software.
In 2016, the current senior managing director switched to the SEMA program. Thanks to the simple and user-friendly way of working, he was able to plan and design just as quickly as before, despite the retraining and familiarization. Thanks to the outstanding consistency of the SEMA program, working with it was effortless right from the start.
Thanks to the software's ability to draw and design in 2D, for example in plan or section, as well as in 3D, Lehmann became faster and more confident in using the program. This enabled the timber construction company to increase its work and planning within a very short time using the 2D/3D CAD/CAM program. The fact that all views in the program are linked to each other and that every change in all parts of the program is kept up to date at the same time still inspires him today.
Together as a team, all the experience, creativity and passion are brought to life in conjunction with a modern workshop, which also includes a Hundegger ROBOT-Drive joinery machine.
For the latest and most ambitious project, "s'Baumhaus Dörfle", Lehmann was able to simulate all of the client's questions regarding construction, feasibility and fire protection in advance thanks to the SEMA software. The visual representation through simultaneous planning in 2D and 3D was a great help to him, as all details could already be clarified during the planning phase.
