Mirroring walls

Mirroring as a basic function of a CAD system becomes a supreme discipline because of additional information - a task mastered with excellence by the SEMA program.

MIRRORING - actually a basic function of every CAD system which, at first, sounds very simple. Which is true - provided that the data to be mirrored does not contain any logical information such as the view side, asymmetrical layer structures, components with predefined reference planes and stops, and so on. With all this additional information, however, MIRRORING becomes a supreme discipline!

In the SEMA software, walls, trusses, floor and construction planes usually do not consist of just one outline or volume model. All board planes belonging to the element and also the stop of windows, doors and macros are, of course, correctly mirrored or rotated in the orientation. All timbers, CAD objects and the complete dimensions contained therein are also automatically mirrored. Cumbersome reworking of the mirrored components is not necessary in the SEMA program and, thus, valuable time is saved.

Mirroring is possible in both 2D and 3D mode. The different input options when mirroring are self-explanatory. The outcome is already displayed visually during the command by means of corresponding mouse pointers and a preview. This supposedly inconspicuous, but nevertheless very powerful function greatly simplifies and speeds up planning for symmetrical constructions.
