New features loading manager

As of Version 23.4, the SEMA Loading Manager has been expanded with new functions for load space control. These new features enable a precise check of the weight and protruding components for each load space.

Load space control for weight and protruding parts

A maximum additional load for each load space can now be determined for loading during work preparation. Once this is stored, the weight control is activated. Components and spacers without a defined weight are displayed with a yellow warning sign and bold font to indicate missing weight information.

Maintain full control: An information field provides information about the remaining load capacity of the respective load space during virtual loading. Components and spacer elements that have not yet been loaded but would exceed the load capacity are marked in the Loading Manager.

This allows for the optimal use of the maximum additional load of each load space. If the maximum additional load weight is still exceeded, a warning sign appears at the load space, in the list view. The weight difference is also displayed in the component hint.

The Loading Manager has also been expanded with regard to protruding components.
If components or spacer elements that have already been loaded protrude beyond the load space, this will be indicated in the load list both for the loading component or the spacer element and for the load space itself. In addition, components that have already been loaded and protrude beyond the loading area are provided with an exclamation mark as a marking for better visibility.

These markings make it possible to see at a glance which components exceed the load space. Consequently, transport safety is increased, potential damage can be avoided and further precautions can be taken to secure the load.

The SEMA Loading Manager offers full control over the load capacity of each load space by means of these new features. This optimizes the loading process and makes sure that work is always carried out within the legal limits.

- Full control: Exceeding the additional load weight and protruding components can be monitored already during work preparation
- Legal compliance: Legal violations can be avoided by means of the load space control
- Everything in view: Possible damage to components, transport machines and around the transport route can be avoided this way

Anchor 3D Objects to Load Space

The new feature "Anchor 3D objects to load space" makes it possible to link master data of 3D objects, such as 3D vehicles or 3D loading platforms/loading trailers, with load spaces for load planning. Consequently, load spaces anchored to 3D objects adapt synchronously to changes.

Via the master data manager, the parameters for the height and length of the required load space can be adjusted according to the element components to be loaded. This enables work planners to work realistically in virtual space.

NEW at SEMA: The Auwärter range of products with all loading platforms, trailers and swap bodies.
