Create a free boom in 3D
To create a boom from this, switch to the "Staircase" menu. The "Free booms in section" option is available under the new "Booms" item. After selecting this function, you can specify the desired base data for the boom and then select the polygon.
The boom is then created automatically. The slats adapt exactly to the shape of the boom. If the polygon – and thus also the boom – is longer than the adjacent post, it is automatically cut to its length. A boom created in this way is not included in the automatic staircase calculation, but remains in the exact shape in which it was created.
